Spectacular Kuranda Rainforest
You will be transferred from your hotel to the Freshwater Station. Here meet your hostess who will run through the day's schedule. Once aboard the train, sit back and enjoy the spectacular views. On arrival at Kuranda you will have free time to do some of your own exploring. Once aboard the skyrail, be amazed as you glide silently over the rainforest canopy on the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. Your journey ends at Caravonica Lakes. Close to the Skyrail Terminal is the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park where you can enjoy a buffet lunch. After lunch see some of the attractions such as Tjapukai stage shows, craft demonstrations, the Aboriginal Village and the famous Tjapukai Dance Troupe. Your hostess will meet you at the entrance to take you back to Cairns.
A Day with Nature
Relax in the morning and enjoy Cairns at your own pace. In the afternoon, after being picked up from your hotel, you will be transferred to the terminal where you will board your vessel the MV Crocodile Explorer. Enjoy afternoon tea while you cruise on this scenic nature cruise along picturesque Trinity Inlet. Your informative crew will share with you the secrets of this unique and special mangrove-lined waterway that is home to a rich and diverse array of wildlife including crocodiles, native birds and over 70 species of fish. Linking Cairns to the sea, Trinity Inlet is a tropical tidal estuary that services freight, leisure & fishing vessels. This is the prehistoric saltwater crocodiles natural habitat - spot them basking on the muddy banks. Following your cruise you will get up close and personal to these crocodiles by gaining exclusive access to the Cairns Crocodile Farm. You will see crocodiles in their natural environment and learn all about their breeding habits and how the crocodiles are farmed for their skin. This journey takes in the wide open sugar cane fields and surrounding mountain ranges.
City & Opera House Tour
This tour is the ideal introduction to Sydney, it includes major highlights and a guided tour of Australia's most iconic building , the Sydney Opera House. Your tour highlights all the city's major landmarks - Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Sydney Opera House, The Rocks, Sydney's birthplace, Parliament House, Hyde Park, St Mary's Cathedral, Art Gallery of NSW and the Domain. You will visit the famous Mrs. Macquarie's Chair for superb views of the harbour and city skyline before heading out of the city through Sydney's red light district Kings Cross. You will travel through the exclusive Eastern suburbs of Double Bay and Vaucluse to The Gap for stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the Heads before arriving at the famous Bondi Beach, one of Australia's favourite beaches. Finally you will return to the city via the historic and trendy suburb of Paddington to the Opera House where you will join a comprehensive guided tour of this famous building.
Wine & Wilderness Day
This is the only tour to the Hunter Valley region that offers the real Aussie bush, history, Aboriginal culture and wine tasting in a full day of complementing experiences in a small group touring. Leaving Sydney, you head North on the freeway arriving at a wildlife park for your morning tea and coffee. Here, a great photo opportunity awaits you with many of Australian wildlife before continuing to the historic village of Wollombi. View several sections of the original 1820 convict built Old Great Northern Road and travel through history and view the small colonial rural township of this era. Arriving at Hunter Valley, you will have the opportunity to sample premium Hunter Valley Wines, many of which are not available anywhere else in the world. Enjoy a gourmet tasting experience of food and wine matching for your lunch. Enjoy cheese tasting and finish up the day with chocolate tasting at a boutique chocolate shop. Your local guide will explain wine making and the industry in the Hunter Valley Region before returning to Sydney.
