After arriving in St. Thomas, transfer to the deluxe Emerald Beach Resort
located on beautiful Lindbergh Bay. The balance of the day is yours to
explore this island paradise.
EMERALD BEACH RESORT
Continental breakfast is served at the hotel before you are transferred
to Arabella, a three-masted schooner. After a “welcome aboard”
reception, dine ashore at one of Cruz Bay’s premier restaurants. ARABELLA
Early
risers can breakfast with the sunrise over the distant verdant hilltops
of St. Thomas. Your first stop
in the British Virgin Islands is Soper’s Hole, Tortola. Enjoy your first
opportunity for a swim in the 85-degree seawater. In mid-afternoon, take
your first snorkeling adventure in the caves of Norman Island, famous for
their spectacular rock formations and crystal clear water. Once at our evening
anchorage in the "bight" of Norman Island, enjoy an on board
cookout under the stars. After dinner, the more adventurous may wish to take a launch
to the “William T. Thornton,” a floating nightspot/pirate ship.
ARABELLA
Today you’re off to the “Baths” of Virgin Gorda, a boulder-strewn
beachscape of unparalleled beauty, where you may wish to wade or swim.
Pass the resort of Little Dix Bay and enter North Sound, Virgin Gorda,
and moor at the Bitter End Yacht Club. All are invited to their famous
Tuesday night barbecue-buffet.
ARABELLA
Your day is at leisure, and Arabella’s guests are welcome at the
Bitter End’s facilities. Lounge by the pool, schedule a massage or take a
windsurfing lesson! Side excursions include an island tour, dive
expeditions, and a daylong trip to the island of Anegada to snorkel on
the reefs.
ARABELLA
After breakfast, sail past the Dog Islands for a visit to Salt Island,
named for salt works that produce the BVI’s yearly levy to the British
Crown. At Peter Island, you have time for a quick swim before heading
ashore to the Prospect Reef Club to dine by candlelight on their pavilion
under the rustling palms.
ARABELLA
Set course for Jost Van Dyke, stopping at the tiny island of Sandy Cay.
You may snorkel, swim or stroll in the sand before a picnic lunch on the
beach. This evening, rendezvous in Jost Van Dyke at one of the most
famous restaurants and nightclubs in the islands—Foxy’s, where you will
enjoy their well-known Friday Night Barbecue Bash. After dinner, you may
choose to stroll in the moonlight, or dance to the Caribbean rhythms at
the club.
ARABELLA
This morning set sail for Red Hook on St. Thomas. Transfer to the Emerald
Beach Resort where you can relax and reflect upon your Caribbean holiday.
