Marketing Support

In order to reserve a custom group or to completely block a departure, a marketing plan must be submitted. Creating and implementing a marketing/promotion plan for your tour block is essential to being successful.

It is important to talk with your Group Sales Coordinator about marketing your tour. Maupintour has items available to assist you with these efforts, all at no charge to you. Save time and money with Maupintour sales materials.

  • Postcards - 200 postcards for your use.
  • Shells / Flyers - 200 color single page flyers
  • Brochures: Our Exotic Destinations, Classics brochure or Tour Digest will have all the information you need for your group.

Blocking Space

To request group block space, do one of the following:

  • Contact our Group Sales Coordinator (888) 999-9586
  • Fax your request: (702) 304-5044 ATTN: Groups Department
  • Email to groups@maupintour.com. Include your name, group name, address, phone number, fax number and email address. Group Coordinator will contact you to qualify your group. "Letter of Confirmation" advising space blocked and deadline dates for payments will be sent approximately 72 hours after request has been received.

Blocking Exclusive Occupancy

  • Any required deposits from our suppliers will be required to block exclusive occupancy. The deposit will be credited to your group master account.
  • If the entire group cancels, a one-time administrative fee of $250.00 will apply.

  • The minimum group size varies with itinerary.

Space Review & Recall

Invoices will indicate review dates for monitoring the booking progress of the tour. However, all space is subject to review at any time, and should it become necessary, unsold space may revert to open sale. Maupintour will contact you prior to recalling space, should this situation arise. Unsold space will be recalled; however, space may continue to be sold, on a space available basis.

Group Block Restrictions

  • No block or group discounts on pre or post-tour extensions.

Oversold Situations

Communication with Maupintour on when and how you will be promoting your tour is extremely important. When promoting travel, oftentimes the Group Leader is unaware of exactly how many passengers want to go on the tour until they've promoted it. Unless a group is blocking an exclusive departure, several groups may be promoting the same trip. This is one of the benefits when booking with Maupintour, allowing you to promote without being liable for a minimum number required; thus, alleviating any stress. At times, more passengers sign up than the Group Leader anticipated and thus we run into an oversold situation on a specific departure. When this occurs, Maupintour will provide your group with options and solutions to accommodate the passengers on an alternate departure date. The key is to promote early and to find out the interest of your members as soon as possible.

Air

Maupintour has contracted fares with several major carriers. We strongly urge you to use our selected flights. Business class savings available on most contracted carriers. Frequent Flyer mileage can be accrued on most airlines.
