Day 1 - Departure day
Board your overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London
A private car will be waiting to transfer you to your well-located West End hotel. Situated in the heart of London, the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel is minutes away from Oxford Street's shopping paradise. Have the rest of the day to explore London.
Day 3 - London
Board a sightseeing coach for a full day tour of London. Drive through Westminster, past Downing Street, to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Stop to visit Westminster Abbey, the site of many royal coronations, then continue to Buckingham Palace for the colorful Changing of the Guard ceremony, and on through the busy streets to Piccadilly, home to London's theaters. After passing around Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column, stop for a traditional London pub lunch break. Afterward, head to the Thames River for a cruise to the Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels.
Day 4 - London
Enjoy London at your leisure today. Perhaps you would like to browse the shops of Mayfair or visit Covent Garden.
Day 5 - London/Paris
After breakfast, you will be taken to Waterloo Station via private car to board the Eurostar Chunnel Train for your first-class ride to Paris. Upon arrival at Gare du Nord, a private car transfers you to your historic hotel, the majestic Regina, with the Louvre Museum on one side and the Tuilleries Gardens on the other. Enjoy the rest of the day soaking up the Parisian atmosphere as you orient yourself to "The City of Light."
Day 6 - Paris
Paris was created 2000 years ago and began at the Cite Island (Ile de la Cite). You will discover the Marais District and the Latin Quarter. After a mini-cruise on the River Seine to reach 'Ile de la Cite' you will then enjoy a guided tour of Notre Dame Cathedral. The second part of our tour is called 'Paris Seinorama', (recorded commentary via individual earphones), in which you will firstly discover Place de la Concorde, Avenue des Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. You will then be taken to a prestigious residential area near to the Bois de Boulogne, before enjoying a one hour cruise on the River Seine. Finally, enjoy a visit to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower and admire the superb panoramic views over Paris.
Day 7 - Paris
See Paris at your leisure today. You could spend some time visiting the Louvre's fabulous collections, or shop in the fashion district. Perhaps you would like to walk through the Montmartre area and watch the artists at work, or take a seat in a cafe and sip a glass of wine while you people watch.
Day 8 - Return home
After breakfast, a private car takes you to the airport for your return flight home. A bientot!
