Itinerary

Day 1 Johannesburg, Welcome to Africa!
You will be met in Johannesburg and transferred for your overnight at the Mondior Concorde Hotel at Emperors Palace

Day 2 Botswana, Chobe BLD
Today you will start your exciting safari when you are transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Zambia! You will be welcomed off your flight with broad smiles to enjoy a 1h30min road transfer to the legendary and world famous Chobe Game Lodge

Day 3 Botswana, Chobe BLD
Today enjoy a choice of land or water activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe area. Chobe is well known for its populations of elephant and buffalo, as well as many other species of wildlife. The resident professional guides offer star gazing and guided walks within the game-fenced area if you choose Hotel Chobe Game Lodge

Day 4 Botswana, Okavango Delta BLD
Enjoy a morning activity and breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your scheduled charter flight to Young Explorers youll enjoy every minute of this exciting unique family safari. The Young Explorer programs are specially designed safaris offering families the opportunity to discover the wonders of the African wilderness together. One of the special attractions of the Young Explorer safaris are their exclusivity as each family has the sole use of a private camp, allowing the daily schedule to be flexible and to be tailored around the ages and interests of all family members. Day 5 Botswana, Okavango Delta BLD
The day begins before sunrise enjoy a light breakfast around the campfire before heading out to see what the bush has in store for us. Following the waters edge gives us the chance to examine some of the tracks left by overnight visitors, as well as identifying some of the multitude of animals, birds and insects that inhabit the forests. Today learn some traditional bush skills and later enjoy a mokora (dugout canoe) ride on the Delta Young Explorers Camp

Day 6 Botswana, Okavango Delta BLD
With the sunrise comes an introduction to driving large 4x4 vehicles, which are vital out in the bush. While out and about we are sure to bump into some of the many species of large mammals that inhabit the Okavango Delta including wild dogs, elephants, lion, buffalo, cheetah, wildebeest and impala. Spending time quietly observing these mammals will give you an insight into the structure of their society and how we may understand them through their body language. Later, you may wish to try your angling skills Okavango style, either along the banks of lagoons and channels or, for the more adventurous from the mokoro Young Explorers Camp

Day 7 South Africa, Cape Town B
The morning is spent discussing your stay, your guides will ask you to identify several tracks, birds and animals, and to explain some of the skills that you might use to survive in the bush. After this informal bush evaluation you will then be awarded your Okavango Delta certificate making you an official member of a truly select group of bushrangers. Fly to Cape Town Hotel Commodore

Day 8 South Africa, Cape Town B
Cape Town offers the visitor a great combination of scenic beauty, outdoors and cultural experiences – for an unforgettable African holiday. After breakfast enjoy your choice of activities, either a full day trip of either Cape Peninsula & Cape Point or Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned Hotel Commodore

Day 9 South Africa, Cape Town B
After breakfast enjoy a half day trip included of Cape Town City, Table Mountain & the Waterfront Hotel Commodore

Day 10 Return Home, B
After your last breakfast in Cape Town you will be transferred back to the airport for your return flight home, bringing to an end an unforgettable family adventure!!
